Prelim classes open to horses with no British Dressage (BD) points
Novice classes open to horses with less than 74 BD points
Riders competing at Novice level, and not eligible to compete at Prelim, may enter “HC” at Prelim level as a “warm up” test. Please declare on entry form.
Entries close Tuesday before the competition date
Times available Thursday before the competition 5.30 – 7pm
Championship Show
Saturday 26th September
Class 1 Prelim Championship - Prelim 14
Class 2 Novice Championship - Novice 36
Entry fee per class £15
Mounted Prizegiving after each class
1st - Champion - £30 + Champion Rosette + Sash
2nd – Reserve Champion - £20 + Rosette + Sash
3rd – Runner up - £10 + Rosette
1st to 4th in each qualifier will go forward to the championship. Where a Horse & Rider combination have qualified at a previous show, entry will be awarded to the next highest placed unqualified combination, so that in each qualifier four new competitors will go forward.
Championship Qualification awarded to individual horse & rider combinations, therefore no substitutions are allowed. A rider may qualify more than one horse, and a horse may qualify with more than one rider (preferably not at the same time!)
It is not possible to compete in both championship classes. Those qualifying for both, will be offered entry at Novice level only. Commanders / whips are not allowed during the championship test.
